Frank Kohoutek Photography

Frank Kohoutek is an amateur photographer based in Minnesota. As a fine art student in the 1970s, Frank considered photography an occasional dalliance and topic of interest, but not really an area of study. Years later, though, the impulse purchase of an inexpensive camera kindled a new discovery of the art of photography.

Frank has long been inspired by ranch country, having taken his first B&W film photograph on his Uncle Dale Case's cattle ranch. After many years of exploring the world through a camera lens, Frank has come full circle, and now centers much of his photography on the sights and atmosphere of the American rodeo. This site features a small sample of his work.
